Changes

Nicole paced around the healer's quarters with a worried look on her face. Her skin was pale and her heart shook by the minute.

"It's going to be fine, Nicole. You should rest!" Roman said, with a frown on his face. He tried to hold onto her but then she evaded him.

She wasn't ready to face him as her mother's words rang in her head. She felt like she was an unfilial daughter. Also, she started to reason if her love for Roman had clouded her.

From the onset, she didn't want to think her parents had actually placed her in exchange for their debt.

However, they promised to get her back when they were back then. She then started to think if they weren't captured by the Blue Moon Pack, she would have still been her mother's daughter.
