In another part of the house, Bryce and Jamie were standing before the open balcony. As they overlooked the beautiful and serene environment, each of them had different thoughts swirling in their heads.

"Is there a way we can go back to the pack, Grandpa?" Jamie asked, her gaze lost in the distance.

She had seen the dread in Nicole's eyes and she knew they were despised for being Werewolves.

"No, baby. We can't go back." Bryce answered simply.

"Why?" Jamie asked, her head snapping to look at him.

"It's more complicated than you think, little girl." He answered simply.
