Ruby nervously stared at the mirror, she was meeting Liam’s family today and she was nervous, she didn’t know what to expect, she has done a little research on the family and they all seem like they were nice people but she couldn’t be sure, this was a different situation, Liam might have been acceptable but his family may have a different viewpoint, as much as she tried not to overthink, it just didn’t work.

“Baby? I am here, are you ready?”

Liam's voice came from downstairs, she gave him her lock password so he could enter when he came around, she quickly checked herself in the mirror one last time before picking up her bag and going downstairs.

“Hi, I am ready,”

She said as she came down to him, he was staring at her weirdly.

“What? Do I have something on my face?”

She asked, touching her face.

“Yes, you do,”

“What’s that?”

“Beauty,”

He responded and she rolled her eyes at him, what the heck had she been expecting him to say? The guy was hopeless.
