Rose was shocked as she slowly peeled herself away from him.

"What do you mean?" She sniffed, wiping her eyes with the back of her palm, "I just told you I had a bad dream and..."

"And it's not my problem," his cold voice filled the room.

He held on tightly to Lulu as if leaving her would cause her to disappear.

Rose was beyond shocked, was the man who was highly in love with her in the past no longer feeling anything for her?

"You're lucky I'm not calling security on you Rose, please take your leave."

"David!"

"Now!" He raised his voice, causing even Lulu to flinch.

"I won't repeat myself."

Rose took a few steps back, shock evident in her face until she left the room.

"What were you thinking?" He cornered Lulu to the wall.

"I..." She swallowed, craning her head to meet his gaze, "I just thought you'd want privacy with her."

"Have you forgotten this is a public space? Anyone could have captured her coming in, what do you think the public would say if they saw you leaving the room?"
