A few minutes after Elijah explained about what happened at Nicolo's mansion, Dante and Harvey left to check things out.

I stayed in the surveillance room, too shocked to even move a muscle.

My eyes were planted on the screen, watching and listening as Elijah gave orders to Kevin and Cane. He called Dalinda and told her to prepare rooms for the vipers at the furthest wing from where our room, his office, and my art studio were located. He told her to get them settled in and then once the vipers left to get to their rooms, he called a few of his men and ordered them to keep watch of the vipers from the large surveillance room. One man was assigned to look after one viper. So, in total, six of the guards were ordered to look after the six vipers.

Afterward, he told Cane to take his brother back to his room so he could rest, told Kevin to check on his son and his 'ex-wife', before he left the study.
