“What are you going to do about the truth you’ve just found out about your dead parents?” James asked Amelia as they sat in the living room.

Amelia heaved a sigh and looked at his face before talking.

“I am going to confront them first. Then I hand them over to the police afterward.”

James’ eyes widened and he moved away from her in surprise. “Hand them over to the police?”

“Why are you so shocked about it? They killed people. They should suffer the consequences.”

“Amelia…” He called slowly and reached for her hand. He sweetly squeezed it and began to play with her fingers.
