I didn’t know what to do, or who to call on, why was there a problem after the other? Why do I have to face problems in my life? Was I ever going to find peace?

I shook my head, tears already forming in my eyes as I stand at Noah, I knew I was in danger; and it was possible that I wouldn’t escape from him this time.

“P..please let me go, please forgive me,” I pleaded, but his stern look still remained, gazing at me with his nose flaring at me.

“I have been going from one job to the other since that day.” He began, squatting beside me on the floor, “my parents disowned me after I got expelled from school, my life had just been one problem after the other, and it’s all thanks to you. You are the cause of it all!”

“I…I am sorry..” that was all I could say.

I know I wasn’t at fault for what happened, he was to be blamed for trying to have his way with me forcefully, he tried to steal my pride, my dignity, he was to be held responsible for that, not
