A Soft, silver shining glimmer lit the villa’s windows, as the rooms were bathed in the full moonlight. The full moon hanged, shyly, in the sky like a silver coin, hiding between the stormy clouds. It cascaded its light with a romantic glow as it casted a silver veil over the room.

“I… I was not with a… Anyone…” mumbled Lydia, as she felt her legs tremble and shake hastily.

She was sure that her stepmother had no idea about Eugene’s presence, however her mother had the fears that Lydia would, someday, surpass her daughter, Sofia. As a result, the stepmother feared that she might have someone to love her one day.
