Chapter 27 Too mean to say to one's husband

The restaurant in Bridget's guest house was filled with people. Men and women chattered away their sorrows and losses over some bottles of drinks.

        "It seems like the country is taking a strategic move that will bring the war to an end. Reinforcement has been made and the army reserve will be joining the troops immediately," a husky voice that belonged to a man in a blue oversized t-shirt that couldn't hide his potbelly, was heard as he said to a man beside him who seemed to be in his early sixties.
