Ellie woke up with an itchy throat. She remembered drinking soft drinks yesterday. She recalled if she had drank water afterwards or if she had enough water to wash out the sugar from her throat. Whichever the case was, it looks like she’d be nursing her tonsillitis in the coming days.
She went to the kitchen to brew some ginger tea, then rummaged through her medicine kit for some paracetamol. The ginger tea and a buttered toast served as her breakfast. She popped a paracetamol after finishing her food, then took a shower.

Ryo was feeling agitated since he could not reach Ellie. He’s not sure what’s running through her mind. Although he has nothing to hide. He did nothing to betray her trust. If there’s anything he’s guilty of, it’s failing to give her a heads up that he and his ex were on the same project. By habit, he likes to be on location at least an hour before the time in case there are last-minute changes that need to happen. The talk show could wait.
