HER GRANDMA

She demanded firmly, "Give me your smartphone." Her face lacks any sense of humor. I was unable to speak to her and excuse myself. I quietly gave my phone to the person without saying a word. My granny can be so frightening at times. She always has a knack of making me instantly lose my voice.

She spoke to me again, "Sit properly. I also sit straight and don't blink. I'm anxious around her. Gosh. She got spookier. I swallow as I feel her behind me.

She asked me simply, "What did you do to stay here for so long," but I was unable to respond since I was at a loss for words.

I gulp again. I am just looking at her.

"Did you also left your tongue in the Philippines? Talk." She seriously said with her scary accent. Gosh.

"I am sorry grandma. I was busy with my studies about our company that I lost my will to come back here." I said while blinking my eyes. I can even feel my hands are trembling.

"Busy with your company? Or busy admiring that man over there?" She asked that made me blushed
