Chapter 24: Ruby With The Strongest Heart

Sapphire's POV

Ruby's eyes flickered as she sat up on the plush king-sized bed, her little fragile fingers clutching the pink satin sheets. Her back was propped up against one of the fluffy pillows I had put in that spot and her blonde hair had been styled into a neat bun by Gwen. The doctor had said she could be moved into the VIP room before the operation and hence, I agreed in a heartbeat.

I was certain being in such a luxurious, first-class hospital room would make her ecstatic and I was right. She loved every inch of the place.
