THE PRESENT

I couldn't wait to take off my work clothes and get a good bath because many other things were making me get all stressed. I couldn't have been more annoyed with Henry today, or perhaps I was just venting out the natural frustration I was facing.

“Hi William,” I heard a familiar voice mention my name. I couldn't have been more shocked at that as I turned to see who it was.

She had that same vibrant smile on her face that brought about so many memories. I just couldn't get myself together at that moment, as all I did was just stare blankly at her in pure horror.

“What…what are you doing here?” I asked, staring deeply at her confused.

“Silly you,” she laughed out loud. “My mom works for you, remember? I'm here to see her.”

She walked over to the dining table, arranging everything accordingly, while I just stared at her, still confused by the fact that she was really there.
