"So it's all an arranged marriage?" I asked again, and he nodded in response to my question.

I stood up, still in disbelief that I had been fooling myself all along. I had initially thought that it was a real marriage only to discover that it was nothing but just a big lie.

This was like a pat on the back for everything that I wished to do and I felt a smirk appear on my face as I thought of literally everything that I was going to do.

"Wait." I turned my attention back to Ethan and asked, "Why are you even helping me? Why do you feel the need to do all of this?"
