CHAPTER 27

“Do you like the black one or the red one?” Alois asks, showing me the two silk gowns.

“The black.”

“Okay people, let’s get a move in, We only have about three hours to make my belle femme shine. Chap! Chap!” He says, clapping his hands and talking to his team.

I was led into the bathroom first to take a shower, and once I was pruned properly, they began on my toenails and fingernails while someone started on my hair.

I remember saying I didn’t want to deal with William again for a while but it seems like the universe is just against me cause it really doesn’t like me even at all. Earlier today, Hazel informed me that William and I would be attending a charity event to raise money for foster kids. I guess you don’t judge a book by its cover, turns out William always donates to this charity event yearly even though he never attends it in person. William booked two hotel rooms closer to the event venue for us to get ready so we could get to the event in time.
