CHAPTER 53

By the time I woke up in the morning, William was long gone. I still couldn’t believe he’d actually let me stay in his bed to sleep last night. Even when I woke up this morning, I still felt as though I had imagined the whole thing. I guess under that hard and cold exterior, he still has a little bit of human attributes.

I didn't have anything planned for today. I was going to spend the whole day at home. William’s father, Mathew, wasn't home either. They both had things to do concerning the so-called launch happening soon which I didn't even know about and I’m supposed to portray the role of a supporting housewife. I miss the days of working at the cafe. It wasn't that fun but at least it felt way better than being in this huge mansion by myself.

Since I wasn’t going anywhere today, I decided on a black tank top and sweatpants to spend the day in. I ate my breakfast in the kitchen as I spoke with Mario and Agatha since I woke up late and their shift would soon be over.
