“Good afternoon Mr Cedrick.” I say as I enter the car. I was jolted awake by the annoyingly loud buzzing of my phone. The loud sound disturbed the peaceful silence that was in the room, rudely awakened me from my dreamless state. I groan and glance at the window. The sun hasn’t even risen yet. Who the hell was even awake at such an ungodly hour? As I walked out of his office unable to control the tears streaking my cheeks, I accidentally stumbled into Luke and my bag tumbled to the ground, scattering all its contents on the floor around me.“Great! I rubbed my eyes before glancing at the clock on my nightstand, it read noon. Wow! I never sleep in. Yesterday was too exhausting, I wanted to go back to bed but I knew I had to get up if I intended to meet John before he started his daily crankiness and also before the club officially opened for the day.I headed into the bathroom to brush my teeth before taking a quick bath. I entered my room afterward to change into one of my old ripped jeans and a white sweatshirt.
