59- Never really mine

Kevin rolled off her, laughing hysterically. Karen too began to laugh, their heads only an inch away with the glassy ice chilling their body under them.

"You're one hell of a learner," commented Kevin as he sat up after a fit of laughter.

"Let's give it another chance," Karen said, feeling challenged "I'll show you that I can do it."

"Hm," Kevin mumbled, then took her hand and got up on his feet "If you fail, you get to send me lunch for the next week."

Karen chuckled, still holding unto him and practicing some slides.

"Is that your way of saying you can't have enough of my food?"

He smiled and replied, "I guess."

They skated for another thirty minutes with Karen falling numerous times but getting back on her feet. By the time they were rounding off, Karen could skate steadily for some minutes without falling.

However, with Zachary she never really had the enthusiasm to learn. Is it because she wanted to impress Kevin? She got lost in thoughts and crashed into him for the second time
