Is the secret out?

After regaining consciousness, I lay on the bed with my hands folded, draped in a hospital gown. Gosh, I hated it here. Mr. Blackwood returned with a leather bag, he had gotten me new clothes since my previous one had been shredded by that crazy Wilson.

I still can’t believe he tried to assault me for turning down his demands, it must have hurt his ego but I never expected him to react that way.

“Do you still feel pain?” Mr. Blackwood asked with concern in his eyes.

I sighed. “Why? Are you now a Doctor?” I teased.

To think of it, this was kinda his fault. I didn’t ask him to buy the company or make me the CEO, he put a target on my back, something I was not prepared for. I understand his intentions were good but sometimes he just needs to take a chill pill and let me carry my cross.
