Was he being possessive? That was not his nature, he had been with so many women in the past and he didn’t give a damn who they hung out with. He only made sure to take pills for prevention of STD’s and STI’s after sexual intercourse with them, so why did he feel different in Anna’s case?

Maxwell knew that a lot of shit went down in this company, he knew most of the staff were having sex with each other and he was a strong advocate of satisfying your temptations within the confines of consent and work balance. As long as they were getting their job done, he didn’t care what they did in their offices, it never bothered him.

But his reaction today with Anna came as a surprise to him; he had felt a pain in his chest that he couldn’t describe, the moment he step
