Chapter 23

I flopped on my bed, exhausted from the day's activities. There was so much to do here and so many beautiful sights to see, especially when you are with someone so interesting. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face as I thought about my new friend.

I finally found the strength to have my bath and do my skincare.

It was a long time ago but the last time I had this much fun was with a boy at the orphanage my Mum used to work at. He was so innocent and always pleaded with me to stay with him.

I heard my phone ring and went to pick it up from where it was charging.

I felt guilty for forgetting my siblings but convinced myself saying I had lived most of my life for them and they were in capable hands.
