The drive from Nadeem City to Salem City takes about two hours. The sky was overcast, and the sound of rain was hypnotic.

Sage did not feel like conversing with Yoel anymore. Putting a blanket over her shoulders, she planned to take a nap. Before she closed her eyes, she warned Yoel, "Keep quiet."

To Hunter, she said, "Throw him out of the car if he's causing trouble."

"Don't worry. I'll be good," Yoel replied, "I can lend you my shoulder if you like."

"No thanks. I might have a nightmare."

Yawning, Sage closed her eyes and said nothing more.

Yoel chuckled softly. Looking at the woman who was curled up like an adorable small pet, Yoel had the urge to pull her closer into his arms.

He reached for his phone and proceeded to take a photo of Sage.

Realizing what Yoel was up to, Hunter glared at him and wanted to snatch away his phone.

Yoel swiftly avoided Hunter. Winking, Yoel hushed Hunter. He planned to carry out his actions proudly.
