CHAPTER 11— I'M TRYING

Celia really hadn’t said a word to Xavier after their little heated conversation. She sat in her little corner, stretched, yawned and turned away from the food he brought her until she fell asleep against the walls.

Xavier sat and watched as she did the most, honestly frustrated and bored. She was overreacting, he knew and he hoped she knew it too. He did nothing wrong, well except for keeping her here against her will and well...okay, he shouldn’t have done it and he shouldn’t have said what he said. He had made a promise to himself to make this as painless as it could be for her and yet, he was hurting her.

He needed a Luna, and he couldn’t just give her position to somebody else. It was hers, but then again, by the goddess, wasn’t he suppose to be hers too?
