Sophia POV

Today is the D-day.

In case you don’t know what I am talking about, today is the day that I get to become an official member of this pack. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I could not sleep last night because I was thinking too much.

“What if the pack members don’t like me? What if I make a mess and end up embarrassing myself and my mates?”. And so many other thoughts did not allow me to sleep.

I went downstairs to make a cup of tea so that I can get rid of my eye bags.

I entered the kitchen and found Xiao having a cup of coffee. I contemplated on whether I should enter or go back. Ever since the day we shared the kiss, I tried my best not to be left alone with him only. I could not look him straight in the eyes anymore. Before I could make a choice myself, Xiao turned and looked at me with a small smile on his face.

“Good morning”. I greeted him.

“Good morning to you dear. Hope you have a wonderful sleep”. Xiao greeted me back.

“Yes”. I gave him a one word rep
