“Now we can sleep in the same bed.” Aaron took off his tie and slung it over the chair, and looked at the nervous Laurel with a gentle smile. “That is, if you don't mind.”

Aaron was really nice to say. Maybe another man will immediately force her to sleep in the same bed. Because they were husband and wife, and Laurel couldn't argue with that. However, he still asked her objection. That means he respects her opinion as a wife.

The man was about to walk away, but Laurel held him back by tugging at the sleeve of his shirt.

“Wait, Aaron.”

Aaron stopped at once, glanced at Laurel's trembling fingers gripping his sleeve, causing her to nervously release her grip. She took a step back and looked at Aaron embarrassedly.

“I won't throw you out of your bed again.”

“So you're the one sleeping on the sofa?”
