( Yvonne's P.O.V. )After Connor picked me up I felt a bit dizzy. He kind of ran away, or at least walked away really fast. Trish and Lily rush over to me to help me steady myself.Lily looks over to him as he walks/runs away. "What was that all about?"I shake my head. "I have no idea. I mean, we had talked about some stuff where he babbled like a cute idiot, but I didn't expect him to pick me up."Trish gasps. "You called him cute! You like him!" She jumps around while cheering out "Yes! I did good! I'm a matchmaker!" I laugh at her outburst. "Yes, you did good." She smiles at me. Behind her, I can see the girls running back to us."We got the clothes Yvonne!" I wave them over and they place bags in front of me. I open the bags and see tons of dresses. "Good job girls. Let's hand these poor boys some clothes." A few of them smile brightly and I pass them the bags to bring to the boys. The doors open and the boys, unknowingly, take the dresses. "Alright boys. We'll see you later. Ou
(Yvonne’s POV )After Connor and I finish dancing we decide to go outside. There are about twenty people in the pool and Connor has decided it would take too long to go get his trunks. Now he's swimming shirtless in his boxers. I told him that I'd go run and put on my swimsuit and meet him down at the pool.I head into my room and pull out a paisley halter bikini top and matching bottoms. When I'm dressed I lay my dress out on my bed along with my heels. My window faces the back yard and I look out to see Connor messing around with the guys. Trish and Lily are already in bikinis and Trish is flirting with guys. I head out of my room and jog down the stairs.I walk over to Lily who is sipping on a cup. "HeyLily. What's up?" I sit down beside her and smile. f"Oh, just hoping I don't embarrass the hell out of myself." She lets out a giggle and a hiccup.I take the cup from her hand. "How many of these have you had?" I look in the cup and it's almost empty."Um, five?" I raise an eyebro
( Connor's P.O.V. )I saw Trish pull Yvonne out onto the deck and smile at how natural she looks. Trish starts to thank everyone for being here, but I just watch Yvonne. She's smiling and staring out at everyone. I spare a quick glance at my watch. 11:55. My eyes look back up at Yvonne, who now doesn't look as happy.Everyone is looking at her with worried expressions, including myself. I try to push through the crowd, but just as soon as I get to the deck, she takes off. I don't think twice before dashing after her. What is she thinking? I ask myself. She's running pretty much in a straight line. I see her try to look behind herself, but I'm hidden by the night.Normally wolves move without being seen in the night, yet she looks like she is practically glowing. A scent fills my nose as I watch her stop. She looks around and I immediately hide behind a tree. I know the scent from training with my dad, and it never meant anything good. I look down at my watch again. 11:58. If I don't g
( Charlotte’s POV ) Today, I woke up with a bright smile on my face. I can clearly remember how Harris' and I's date went.I was very awkward around him at first. I couldn't be myself because my brain was pressuring me, but it did end on a good note. Harris was able to calm me before I'd break into a panic attack. I felt comfortable around him since then. Before we went back to class, I even teased him.Things were different, but it was a good difference.Unlike my brain, Harris was very considerate and gentle, which toned down the pressure I felt.It wasn't hard to connect with him because we came from the same background. We knew the same people even if I rarely went out. He also told me the story as to how everything started, from the days his feelings developed until he finally dared to ask my father.Jasmine lazily looks at me while she lays on my bed, feet sprawled all over, "Judging by the look on your face, you're replaying what happened yesterday."What? No," I say with a sh
"Don't mind them Charll, they're just jealous." Axel pats my back, and gives me a reassuring smile.Jealous is an understatement.I kind of feel clueless to what's going on and around. I feel like I'm judging everybody without knowing them personally, and that's terribly wrong. We are all different individuals with different personalities, so we should never judge a person by their looks or by their gestures.I've been judging everyone here. The worst part is when I don't even know them personally."Let's just set it aside. I don't want bad energy, surrounding us. It's bad." We silently walk to the field. The grass is green, which makes the field more comfortable to play on.The boys stood at the field, some send smug looks at our direction. They are properly dressed for the game, unlike the last time. They all wore different outfits for different sports, and some weren't even wearing cleats. The boys stood up with pride, as usual, nothing seems to change about their attitudes."Hello
(Charlotte’s POV)"Reddox," The king greets with an appealing smile. "Oh, I'm sorry to bother your private conversation." Alpha Reddox says with a gruff voice. He's a big-muscular man, and may I add, scary. He looks like a tower. He makes me feel small. Oh wait, I am small."Take a seat Reddox. We have so much to catch up on." The headmaster gestures him to sit on one of the sofa chairs in his office. Alpha Reddox takes a seat, but it takes him a while to adjust because of his huge size. He's got big booty."I think we should talk, privately." Alpha Reddox says, his eyes looking back at Axel and me.We both stand up, and silently walk out the door.Well, that's what you call an 'awkward-situation'. Axel and I continue to walk silently to our half empty dorm building. I'm sure by Monday,- next week--new students will fill our building and the other building."Can I sleep over, tonight?""Sure, but we're having a Disney Movie Marathon today." Axel wraps an arm around my shoulder giving
(Charlotte’s POV)When Axel was walking up to us, then he slowly tripped on the little book cart. The book cart fell over and a large bang was heard throughout the whole floor, each echo made it subtly smaller throughout the background."Shit" Axel silently cursed he got up and walked back to the book cart. He silently glared at it, due to the books that flew over out of the book cart.Benny and I chuckled at how clumsy Axel was.Once Axel got back to the small table, which honestly didn't fit the two welled built men in the small chair, Axel held two sheets of paper that were freshly printed out."What did you find?" I query him, "I found out that-""That Alpha Reddox is the 'Used to Be' King and Queens' son" Benny says, "Wait what" I say, all wide eyed."Yes, the King and Queen before used to have a son" He says quietly, "They made sure that Alpha Reddoxs' life was pure misery, they made sure that they didn't treat him like their son." He hardly pushed the book so fast it chugged to
Alpha Reddox made it look clear that he's making me solve a riddle. I'm defenseless, I'm stronger, and that everyone will praise me. I'm not so sure of myself, or is it just Alpha Reddox, putting up my hopes to a state that I'd believe I would possibly shift.I honestly didn't want to hear him, but this urge keeps pushing me up forwards. It hurts, hurts that I'd actually fall for a dream that could never happen. I'm scared that he's saying lies, giving me no will to regain myself if I put my hopes up and believed."Could you just tell me?" I pondered, querying him because he's irritating me already."I'm not sure what you are, but your eyes, they shine so bright than the actual color." He looked straight through me, globing my eyes as if they held all my emotions inside. "My eyes are the same, there's nothing wrong with them. They look dull and unpleasing to me Alpha Reddox." I say, giving him a confused look."I see it, it turns differently. It's like they over take the color of your
