CHAPTER 59

( Yvonne’s POV )

Connor holds my hand as we walk down the halls towards my dad. Despite his constant reminder that he "isn't scared" of my dad, I can tell he's nervous.

His hand is cold, which is almost impossible for a wolf. "Are you ready?" I ask him as we reach the door to my Dad's office.

He nods his head and smiles down at me. "I'm ready whenever you are." He looks back up to the door and knocks twice.

"Who's there?" My dad calls from the other side of the door.

Connor clears his throats and looks down at me.

"It's me, Connor. Yvonne and I need to talk to you."

The door opens and Connor's hand is ripped from mine as my dad pins him to the wall. "If you get my daughter pregnant, I will make you wish you were never born."

"Dad! It isn't that, I promise." Before he lets Connor go, he looks at me. After a second he releases Connor and walks into his office.

"Then let's discuss it in my office." We trail behind him and I make sure to shut the door before sitting on one of the couche
