Chapter 36 – Escape

Emma’s P.O.V

I was staring out one of the many windows thinking about everything my grandfather had told me. Part of me still didn’t believe him, I mean yeah, the werewolves I had met was not the nicest but they had never harmed me. Aside from that one that had killed my parents I really thought it was unlikely that they were all evil monsters. I mean look at my Aunt Luci, she was of my blood, and yet she was more of a monster than I had ever met. Include the fact that beautiful Sera was a wolf and I knew she would never ever harm me… Grandfather had to be wrong. He just had to be. And yet, she had not come for me… she had not tried to rescue me… maybe he was right.

I felt my chest heave as a tear escaped my eye, would she really abandon me? I knew my mother would stop at nothing to save me, but would she be able to fight threw an entire pack of wolves? Sera was part of them, I knew that but… But she was my sister first. I sighed
