Giggles soon came from the crowd. It felt like another slap to Jane.

In the end, Jane felt mortified and humiliated. She couldn't stop the tears from flowing down her face as she shoved Hailee away and ran off.

Hailee was also embarrassed, though she maintained her smile. "Naomi, Jane has apologized now. So don't be angry anymore, okay?"

Jane had indeed apologized. But it didn't mean Naomi had to forgive her.

Naomi sniffed. She pushed herself closer to Hannah before calling out, "Hannah …"

"Are all Winchester daughters such crybabies?" Hannah thought as she patted Naomi's arm.

"Those who made mistakes must apologize. It's only right. Still, it wouldn't make sense to force the victim to accept the apology. You're only 19, after all."
