“Then prepare yourself,” she heard him say and she had just stopped breathing. She isn’t sure what was going to happen next but she knew what she asked for. The chamber was cold. Of perhaps she was just nervous. She lost the ability to determine. The clothes that were brought in by Henrietta the other day were the usual thing: It left almost nothing for the imagination. There was no window in her chamber but the room's brightness changed according to the time of the day. She was still not very acquainted with the underworld but so far, she knew there was a certain place that looked peaceful. And then the rest of the underworld is the gloomy castle and the gloomy environment around it. What was she expecting? She swallowed hard as her hand found the thin fabric of her dress and straightened it. She lost count of how many times she had reprimanded herself for making that offer. Hades looked at her in wonder, as if he couldn't believe she said it. She couldn't believe it either. But then ever so slowly, his hand went to hold hers. He formed it in a way that would let her hold his girth. And when her palm touched his flesh, she let out a gasp at the same time he let out a soft moan. Hades moaned just with her touch. The next morning, she found herself back in her chamber. She doesn't remember how she ended up in her chamber but she remembers what happened before she became too exhausted to even walk. She did it. She finally did it. As much as she wanted to convince herself that she did it to find a way out, she would be lying if she said she didn't like it. She liked it very much. Did she finally give in to that desire just waiting to come out or called out? Before her thoughts could even progress to the details of what happened last night, she forced herself to get up. Her body felt light and she had the most wonderful sleep she's had since she came here.
