“We’re going to hang out today,” Callum said as they were walking towards the parking lot. “Is there anything you want to do in the mall?”
Caleb smiled. They were going to the mall! It had been a while since he went to the mall with his father so he was somehow excited. Especially, since Bea would be joining them.
“I want to go shopping for clothes and toys. I also want to watch movies…” He paused as he thought about the things that he would want to do. “I also want to eat at a restaurant and play games in the arcade!”
“Since you requested those, then we will do all of those!” Bea said in an enthusiastic voice.
The young child was so happy. It felt as if he was having a date with his own family. He always thought that it would be impossible for him to experience such a thing because his father was always busy and he already lost his mom the moment he was born.
