     “We’ve arrived.” Kelvin's deep voice echoed in the car. Chloe came to her senses and looked out at the familiar surroundings of the apartment complex. She was distracted. She felt like the dinner was very surreal.

     “Thanks.” She said and turned to shake Audrey’s shoulders.

     “Audrey…” The kid yawned but continued to sleep like a piglet. She could not be awakened.

     “Allow me,” Kelvin said as he undid his seatbelt. He exited the car before Chloe rejected and opened the rear car door. He easily carried Audrey into

his arms.

     “Come, I’ll send you up.” Chloe was stunned and then walked in front.
