Chapter:138: A Conspiracy:

Kelvin took on a ghastly expression and Chloe didn’t know why.

     After taking the earrings out of the jewelry box for quite some time, Kelvin seemed to have confirmed something. He went to the study room opposite and took out an aged black-and-white photo. It seemed old because the corners of the photo were yellow.

     The photo was of a young woman in a cheongsam, about eighteen to nineteen years old. She was a beauty that looked indifferent. She wore a golden necklet around her neck with two different sizes of jade. Although the jades were old, the smooth outline of the jades could still be seen clearly.

     “This is?” Chloe was a little puzzled.

     Kelvin compared the earrings and put down the photo.
