Chapter 19 The Defect Ⅰ

Led by the soldiers, Carl and the other few cadets who completed their tasks were taken to the canteen.

"Listen, you will have ten minutes to finish your dinner! Don't talk to each other when you eat or do anything else!" The soldier pointed to one of the tables and placed their dinners on it.

Carl shrugged his shoulders helplessly, sat at one of the seats and began to eat his dinner.

The others also obediently sat around the dining table. For a moment, only the clinking sounds of tableware could be heard.

Although there were more rules, the food was more sumptuous than that in the orphanage... Carl quickly finished his dinner and leaned back in satisfaction.

The cadets needed a lot of energy during their training, so to help them build up their strength, most of the food for dinner was meat. For Carl and the others who did not have meat often in the orphanage, such a dinner was like a feast.
