Chapter 40 The Night Before
Looking at the massive black bear-like John in front of him, Carl cursed on the inside. "Weakness? Does this dude look like he has a weakness?"
Suddenly, he noticed that John was standing on the ground with just one foot!
"Wait a minute!" He recalled how Instructor Yates managed to knock him down with a sweeping kick because he was going too fast. The circumstances then and now were very similar.
"So, this is what they mean by conquering strength with softness and defeating the enemy with a single move!" Carl stared at John. Just as John was about to hit his face with a roundhouse kick, he squatted down and quickly evaded the kick.
"Impossible!" John was shocked. Before he could pull his leg back, he heard Carl's voice in his ears.
"Take this squat kick!"
