"Doctor!" Suzy suddenly interrupted, then grabbed the doctor's sleeve and pulled him aside. "I have an urgent matter now, I'll come to see you when I'm free, I have to go now!"

Taken aback by her sudden sharp tone, the doctor nodded stiffly and left with a puzzled expression.

Behind her, Clive approached, walking in a way that made Suzy's heart race.

It was fortunate she managed to stop the doctor from talking.

He immediately asked, "What was he saying just now? I didn't catch it."

"Nothing important, I had some issues during a previous health check, so he asked me to hurry back for a follow-up."

Clive raised an eyebrow. "Why did he ask you to discuss a follow-up with your husband?"

"Why do you keep asking about this?" Suzy felt annoyed. She wasn’t close to Clive, and she found him really irritating—always asking questions.

However, Clive was the type to probe deeper.

"Just curious! It’s fine, if you don't want to say, I can ask the doctor."

"It's because the check-up showed I might ne
