Arya foolishly pressed her palms against the door panel to block anyone from entering and did not realize that she had actually locked the door from the inside and it could not be opened from the outside. Anyway, her immediate reaction was to hide inside, pretend to be dead and let Jack settle this matter himself on the outside.
