The blood moon was slowly creeping across the night's sky, shining down mockingly on what is about to take place.

"The blood moon, it gives vampires strength. Onyx waited for this to attack." October looked up at Alistair.

He spoke while putting his armour on. "I'm sure he has some weird theory about it too, but don't worry. We'll stop him."

Alistair held October's face in his hands. "I can see that you are worried, but we will get through this. Onyx won't prevail, all you have to do if you feel scared is just stick to my side."

October smiled up at him. "I'm not worried, just thinking back to what my life was some months ago vs now."

Alistair kissed her deeply, when they pull apart all they could do now was leave the house and join everyone as they walked out to where the open area was.

Howling, screeches and other noises were heard in the distance, cutting through the dead silence.

October held onto Alistair's hand as the roars got louder, and fire was set to parts of the village
