Xander's POv..

He entered his truck and pulled out of the parking lot. Thanks to Griff, he couldn't use his powers because of the cameras that had started stalking him. After dodging a few cars on the freeway, his eyes glanced at the rearview mirror and he noticed at least six vehicles trailing after him.

"I'll pay you back for this!" he muttered, already hatching a plan for Griff.

He turned left into the exit, passed a few roads then turned left again into the palace gates. The cars behind him stopped their pursuit at the entrance and he watched them disembarking and taking pictures.

Whatever he had to do today must be done in complete secrecy because the last thing he wanted right now was for Helena's picture to be taken and splashed all over the news.

'Dudum dudum dudum', he could hear her continuous heartbeat and his being became excited. Even though there were some unresolved issues, seeing her again wouldn't be so bad.
