Moment before the storm

Helena's POV…

She stood at the entrance to the cabin and hesitated before gathering her courage and walking in. A new kind of dread had entered her and the last thing she wanted to see were anymore traces of Savannah.

As expected, everything inside had been untouched and she found herself looking at the exact same scenario as yesterday.

'Don't be silly. Did you really expect him to care about your emotions?' She questioned herself as the room became larger and she became smaller. Purple jar still in hand, she pretended to be unaffected, walked across the room to put her backpack down then headed for the couch.

Hiding her bruised emotions, She held the jar close to her eyes and tried to make out the illegible writing surrounding it.

"What kind of writing is this? It's so tiny and I can't see it clearly", she observed, squinting her eyes, her hands twisting and turning the bottle in front of her.
