Bloodsuckers

After a long pursuit, my wolf finally caught up with the bloodsucker. He was crouching by the tree, cradling the kid in his arms.

He turned around and sneered at me, his eyes glowing red. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't drain the life out of this poor child, wolf," he said, enjoying to her the continuous weeping of the kid.

I could not help but clench my fists, feeling my claws extend. "Because I won't let you," I growled.

The vampire bared his fangs, hissing menacingly. My wolf could see that he was a powerful and experienced vampire, with years of combat experience under his belt.

He had long black hair, sharp features, and a lean, predatory build. But my wolf was not intimidated. I knew that, if necessary, I could fight him to death in order to save the kid.
