Who To Blame

As a result of exerting much of my wolf's force, Julian's claws were also extracted from my shoulder and his body was thrown away. My wolf risked flashing in Karen's direction to help her but Julian managed to stop me from doing so.

He bumped into my body right before breaking my right leg. But it did not stop me from trying hard to save Karen. And I will make sure before the night end, Karen will be riding her car again heading back to her home.

"Try harder, Melvin." Julian viciously uttered.

"Then try harder stopping me, Julian," I uttered back right after flipping the broken bones of my leg back to its position. I barely moan despite the pain when I press my gums harder not to produce sound.

As soon as my legs finally healed, I flash back to the tree again, this time, by jumping on top of Julian. High enough the only thing he did is to look at me cutting off the ropes that were tied on Karen's feet.

"Behind you," she uttered in a faint tone.
