In an attempt to offer support and perhaps divert Jay's attention, Terry Nashville, his elder brother, instructs Blackwood, the loyal bodyguard, to engage in conversation with Jay.

As Blackwood arrives, Jay scoffs at him, his anger still simmering beneath the surface. With a hint of bitterness, he questions, “so much for the loyalty, huh, Blackwood?”

Blackwood, burdened by guilt and the weight of his own choices, parts his lips to speak, seeking forgiveness from Jay.

“Forgive me, Master Jay.”

His confession attempts to bridge the growing chasm between them, as he hopes for Jay's understanding and forgiveness. “I was forced to -”

Unaware of the full extent of the situation and the gravity of the choices Blackwood faced, Jay smacks his lips dismissively, his bitterness evident in his tone.

“Forced to betray me, Blackwood? You knew and you did not tell me -”

He had expected more from Blackwood, hoping that his loyalty would prove unwavering and aid him in his quest to bring his father
