Nora, accompanied by her father Henry, walks out after being discharged from the hospital. Surprisingly, no one from the Nashville family, not even Terry, is present to receive her. While Nora feels disappointed, she is not entirely surprised by their absence, given her strained relationship with the family.

"Why isn't Terry here?" Henry can't help but voice his curiosity, sensing Nora's annoyance towards the Nashville family. Nora, feeling frustrated with the entire situation, replies, "It's not like we need them, Father. Let's just go."

As they step outside the hospital, Nora instructs her father to find a cab. However, a man in a black suit approaches them, politely offering them a ride in a waiting car.
