Jonathan's house is on one of the "fronds" of the Palm Jumeirah. All the houses face a single main street, with a row of houses side by side to the right, another to the left, following the design of the palm frond. In the back, through the garden, we can access the sands that, from what I remember from my research, were dredged from the seabed for the construction of this artificial palm-shaped island. Incredible creations dreamed up by ambitious millionaires and ingenious engineers, all with a touch of madness, I believe! So, who wouldn't want the opportunity to walk around here, even for all that?

After some time, I notice Jonathan standing in front of the door that leads to the backyard, looking at me and smoking a cigarette.
