Chapter 36

Imelda and Greg dropped in to that same restaurant. They had their seats beside Vanessa and her boyfriend.

Joe gnashed his teeth on sighting Imelda with Greg. His feelings for her were still new, as though they had just met. The love he had for her was true love indeed.

He did not have much like every man should, but she was still willing to spend the rest of her life with him. It was impossible for Joe to forget this part and go ahead into marrying someone else.

Greg was feeding his fiancée when Joe walked up to them and picked up his spoon, which had fallen over there. The eye contact he gave Imelda made her spat out the food into Greg's face.

“Oh my! I am so sorry” Imelda apologized.

“It's alright. Excuse me” Greg excused himself to the convenience.

Joe watched how Imelda's hand shivered uncontrollably after placing them on the table to rest.

Joe observed the fright that boldly displayed in her facial expression. He could sense something wrong with her.
