"Very often, all the activity of the human mind is directed not in revealing the truth, but in hiding the truth."

In between her busy schedule and dealing with her family drama with her grandmother still unconscious at the hospital, somehow she could still find time and squeezed her schedule to meet up with the woman who claimed herself to be her fan. She was not sure what she was thinking but her gut instinct was telling her to meet the woman and had a chat with her. She barely even knew the person and truthfully there was no advantage in meeting her because it was not as if she was a client of her company or an important figure, but she had made a promise and she would be a terrible person to break it.
Yes, it should be the least of her priority, considering all the madness and chaos in her life, but her gut instinct led her to do it and there had to be a reason why. She thought she would not lose anything by
"Sensual is being in tune with your sensual self."-Aaliyah-***The sound of flowing water was heard from the bathroom. It was gentle yet managed to still woke Vian up from her slumber. She felt exceptionally tired that morning. Throughout the week she had worked so hard she barely had time for any rest. It was Sunday and all she wanted to do was to rest at home and perhaps call a massage service to massage her aching muscle. As soon as she sat down on the bed, the bathroom door was opened and Adonis came out from the room with nothing but a piece of towel wrapped around his hips.“Good morning my love, I’ll be making breakfast for us soon, what would you like to eat today?” He asked in a calm, relaxed tone which was always preferred by her. Vian thought about it for a second before replying.“I want something light and fresh today so maybe you can make me fruit bowl, please?” Her voice was s
"The guilty dog barks the loudest."-Unknown-***When hearing the news about Greta’s wake, everyone in the house went insane about it. The quickly dropped or cleaned up what they were doing and raced toward the hospital to visit her. Adonis and Vian was no different. However, they were not exactly rushing it because they knew no matter what they would be beaten by those who were already on the road. Vian took another very quick shower just to get rid of the oil left around her skin and changed into an appropriate casual outfit. Adonis did the same and before long they were already heading there.Initially the hospital was a bit concerned seeing so many people gathered in front of her room because all the family members were there to make sure that they were first to get in to see her and truthfully it was purely and act to gain her favor. These family members wanted to be seen as caring and respectful in hope to become the
"In nature there are neither rewards nor punishments, there are consequences."-Robert Green Ingersoll-***Tamara walked out from the doctor’s room at the hospital with a defeated expression, she had no idea what she was supposed to do with herself. The truth she just heard was unbelievable and a part of her did not want to accept it as her reality but it was happening and she could almost feel her world crumble in front of her.“What am I supposed to do?” She walked alongside the corridor and found herself sobbing as she covered her face with her hands. People who saw her might have their own thoughts upon looking at her reaction but she could not be bothered by other people’s perspective of her because she was still shaken by what happened. How can I be pregnant? She questioned herself. She did not understand how it was even possible, she had taken every precaution measure necessa
"Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities: truth isn't."-Mark Twain-***Cynthia was baffled when Adonis told everyone in the room she was the culprit behind the attacks. She quickly stepped in and denied it. Her brows raised in fury and her cheeks were getting red. Her eyes widened in disbelief, she went back and forth between Adonis, Vian and Greta.“No, what are you talking about? Are you accusing me of harming my own grandmother? I have no reason to hurt her and you know that. What benefit would I gain by hurting her! This is slander! I can get you in jail for this horrible accusation!” Greta also stared at Adonis with a frown, she did not know what had gotten this man or how he could say such thing.“How dare you accuse my grand-daughter! Just who do you think you are? Do you have any proof that Cynthia did it?” Greta clearly defended her,
"Shadow and light are two sides of the same coin, one cannot exist without the other."-Princess Zelda-***Adonis sat down beside Vian and he was ready to answer any questions she threw his way about the incident earlier. Vian casted her book aside and focused her entire attention toward him. She tried her best to not appear too interrogative but she really wanted to know how he did everything.“Could you please explain to me how you figured it out?” She relaxed her face a bit to reduce the tension in the room since she knew the tenser the situation was the harder it was for him to explain. She sat back and simply paid attention to what he was about to say and Adonis took a deep breath as he put his thoughts together.“Okay, I have to admit, I did hire a private investigator to handle this matter because last time, your grand-mother wanted to know the culprit behind the incident so bad she was willing to
"Confronting an irresponsible person is not painful to him, only consequences are."-Henry Cloud-***It was quite difficult for Tamara to arrange the meeting with Jeremy because for some strange reason the man had been rarely seen lately. It was almost as if he was purposely trying to avoid her, at least it was what she thought. She could not speak with him about it at work because she hated to bring such personal topics to meddle with her work so they agreed to meet at a private lounge where they could discuss this in private. She was already dressed in a stunning blue dress and arrived a bit earlier than him. She did not order any alcoholic beverage because she did not want to risk it so she ordered a fruit mix juice instead and constantly bit the straw out of nervousness. She placed her hand on her stomach and closed her eyes. She could feel her heartbeat accelerate as she waited. She did not know why she was so nervous, all
"Life is a journey I don't have map for."-Delta Goodrem-***The car stopped in front of the hospital and the woman dressed in black walked out with her red heels stepping on the cold marble floor. She took off her shades and placed it in the case within her bag. Scents of woody white florals spread across the entire lobby which might disturb a few patients with sensitivity, but it was none of her business. She confidently stepped in and asked one of the nurse for direction to the room. Her red plump lips immediately caught the attention of the men around who observed as she walked with grace to her grandmother’s hospital room. Her deep blue eyes watched as people were being dragged to the emergency room. The noises of cries could also be heard from the distance. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Out of all things in the world she hated being at the hospital the most, she always found the weird medicine and sanit
"One thing you can't fake is chemistry."-Blake Shelton-***Adonis was snuggling against Vian’s chest. It was a cozy evening and the two of them had just finished their work for the day, had dinner and took shower together. Everything was so serene and the only thing on Adonis’ mind at the time was to spend plenty of time with her. He just clung onto her arms as she was reading a book. It was such an adorable sight, there were times when Adonis would act like a little boy, hugging her arms was one of those actions. He was not aroused or anything, it was a non-sexual gesture, just something he did to make himself feel safe and comfortable and she did not mind it as long as she could still move her hands to read the book.He thought the two of them would remain in the same position until they were asleep but of course it would have been an ordinary night with no stories to tell if that was the case. Just as he was gett
