CHAPTER HUNDRED-THIRTEEN

Adrian dropped his long sword as he pulled out the daggers from Malik causing him to cry in pain and finally turned his attention to his opponent.

Simon was waiting for him in the center of the sandy arena, unlike the others he was dressed in his full armour but his helmet was missing. Making his face a perfect target, because the armour he was wearing reduced Adrian's chance of hurting Simon. Simon took a short dagger in one hand, a curved dagger in the other.

Tightening his grip on his daggers, he approached the knight. As he got closed, the guard fell into an attack stance, the short dagger was placed in front and the curved one behind him. "You can't beat me Noble," Simon said. It appeared his confidence has returned and it was now fueled by anger. Adrian figured he was trying to save face. He must find it humiliating to be challenged like this in front of his men.

Adrian adjusted his step, circling to his right -- just outside the reach of the guard's short dagger. "Wanna bet,"
