Episode 41

Wild birds flew around the woods, their loud cry added more sentiment to the atmosphere. The soil was moist and each leaves on trees began to winter down, their dry leaves fell slowly as the time went by.

Deep inside the soil, Adolphus laid still, his eyes were tightly shut and his fingers moved slowly in a way that each bone might crack if aggressively moved.

A moth crawled on his leg, Adolphus felt the ticklish feeling but stayed mute not moving a part of his leg. Slowly, the moth crawled to his stomach and began to head to his face. At once, Adolphus' eyes opened and he could see clearly in the dark soil. His throat was dry and he felt a string tied around his feet. With raised head, he looked down and realized that a rope was tied around his leg. He could feel his body begin to burn, sweat trickled down his face but surprisingly, he felt no pain and the incident that happened before he fell asleep crept into his mind.
