He was completely off work the other day because of the twin's birthday but he enjoyed it. He enjoyed every part of it. He saw her laugh, he saw her get excited when she played a game with the kids. Although he didn't participate in the entire game, he enjoyed every part of it.

Jessica came to him. She asked about Jasmine and he told her the truth, there was no point keeping it away from her when she would find out at the end of the day.

“But you love her,” Jessica uttered and walked away almost immediately knowing that he would deny it. Jessica was always right, she was right but he would admit that to himself.

Admitting means taking all the pain that would come along with loving someone. Donovan Rolland doesn't want to know pain or accept it.

Raising his head, he saw that she was there anymore. Jasmine wasn't in her working position. He wondered where she had gone to. Knowing she might be printing or talking to other colleagues, he continued his work.
